Becoming a social media sensation on the Inverness Miners Museum Facebook page, Mary Chisholm has garnered quite the following for her comedic timing and acting ability. Fans from across the nation tune in weekly to watch her skits: whether it’s a heated telephone chat with Flora Margaret or her insights reading the newspaper. In an effort to celebrate Mary as our great museum ambassador, we entered a float fitting for a true queen into the 2023 Inverness Gathering Parade. And well, Mary’s loyal subjects had nothing but admiration and praise.
