Seeking Board and General Society Members

Dear Invernessers,

Over the past few weeks, we've been listening carefully to your feedback and suggestions. Your input is of the utmost importance to us as we strive to preserve and celebrate the history of our community.

Given the many individuals who have offered their support, we are announcing that we are actively seeking individuals to apply for vacant board positions at the Inverness Historical Society. If you have a passion for our local history and are dedicated to our mission, we encourage you to consider applying to join us through the link in the attached google docs.

Additionally, we are looking for anyone interested in registering for general society memberships. These exist for those who want to support our efforts but may not be able to commit to a board position. General members will have the opportunity to participate in our activities and stay connected with our initiatives. This membership will only cost a simple donation. Whatever you are able to give will be put towards our current transition efforts. You may donate by e-transfer at invernessmuseum@gmail.com, and then fill out the following form below.

We know many of you are concerned about protecting the future of Inverness’ history. We urge community members who share these sentiments to join our society and help make a positive contribution. Thank you all very much.

Sincerely,

The Inverness Historical Society

Ben MacKay (Deputy Curator)
